Terms of Service


A Tour Registration Form, must be completed and signed by all travelers.


In order to plan an itinerary and make a provisional booking on your behalf a Non-refundable deposit of US $250 per person is due, payable by credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover).


Upon receipt of full confirmation 25% of the land tour cost is due (less the initial $250 per person paid). Upon receipt Safariline will send out your pre-departure documents.


Seventy Five Days prior to departure, the final balance of your invoice is due payable by check, wire transfer or credit card (American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover). Also required at this time is proof of Trip Insurance.


Note: If reservation is effected within 75 days of commencement of travel, the entire amount is required at time of confirmation. If payment installments are not paid when they are due, Safariline reserves the right to treat the reservation as canceled and cancellation charges will apply.



Upon receipt of deposit, you will receive a copy of our pre-safari information. This informative booklet provides valuable details about the safari, the local conditions, essential reading, plus details on what to pack and what not to bring!



All quoted fares are based on ADVANCE PURCHASE EXCURSION OR TOUR BASED FARES effective at time of printing. These fares are subject to a minimum /maximum stay and other restrictions. Ticketing deadlines vary by airline and will be advised at the time of booking. Airfares quoted are from selected gateways and based on current tariffs and rules in effect. Add-on fares from other cities may be available. Applicable US & Foreign taxes, Fuel Surcharges, weekend surcharges and stopover fees may be added to fares. Airfares and airline schedules are subject to government approval and may alter without prior notice. Credit card purchases will be accepted according to the rules of the individual carrier.



The tour cost includes planning, handling and all operational charges. Prices are based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect at time of printing. In the event of severe currency fluctuation or tariff increase the cost is subject to adjustment. Internal (domestic & regional) air as indicated in the itinerary, hotel services, all sightseeing arrangements, park and entrance fees, and local guides and leadership may be included in the tours. In addition accommodation, meals, transfers and taxes and gratuities are included as detailed. (B=Breakfast / L=Lunch / D= Dinner)



 A valid passport and appropriate visas are required for every traveler.  It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that these documents are valid for the countries visiting. Safariline cannot be held responsible or liable for any invalid visas or passports at time of travel, nor for the costs of obtaining them.



Baggage allowances on international flights vary by airline and destination.  It is the responsibility of the traveler to check requirements. If your itinerary includes lite aircraft or charter flights baggage weight is limited to either 20 kg or 15 kg in a soft bag.  This includes camera equipment and carry-on baggage.  Arriving with excess baggage will require purchasing an additional seat if available or ground transferring the excess luggage all at the travelers expense.  Please consult with Safariline for any baggage restrictions specific to your itinerary.



Although every effort is made to adhere to schedules, it may be necessary to change to the Tour itinerary for route

changes, safety, accommodation or similar logistical changes dictated by changing conditions, seasonal rainfall, bush fires or other occurrences. Safariline shall not be held responsible for itinerary changes nor liable for any refund.



Any increase in government taxes affecting costs included in the tour fare are the responsibility of the traveler.



For safety reasons certain lodges have age restrictions for young persons or those over the age of 75 depending on their health and fitness. Please consult with Safariline for any age specific policies when planning your journey.  If anyone misrepresents the age of a participant, Operators reserve the right to terminate the tour without a refund.



Although Safariline endeavors to ensure that your trip runs as smoothly as possible, not everything is within our control. The safari operators we work with require that all guests are covered by travel insurance, including emergency medical evacuation coverage.


The coverage for trip cost is available through Safariline and at your discretion; please enquire. Non-USA residents are not eligible for this plan, and must provide proof of coverage purchased in the country of residence. Proof of Trip Insurance is required to release final documents.
